2004-2007   Volunteer/Main stage House Manager———-Chicago Improv Festival (CIF)

• Worked as volunteer for several years at the world-famous Chicago Improv Festival, worked for stipend as house manager at the 2007 CIF Mainstage. Worked behind the scenes to coordinate performers, announcers, and backstage staff to make the festival move smoothly.

2012-2013   Volunteer/Artistic Coordinator—-Rock Paper Scissors Artistic Collective (RPSC)

• Spent time at the RPS collective in Oakland, California, supervising high school students with artistic promise. Worked weekly as cashier and supervision for the collective’s shop and studio. Worked monthly as cashier and informational guide to artistic collections (which rotated monthly) at events such as ‘First Friday’ and other neighborhood art events.

2012-2014    Administrative Coordinator——————————Healthright 360

• Although not an obviously artistic role, worked as coordinator for all the administrative processes in a rehabilitative women’s facility. Holder of the keys and wearer of many hats, my work began at 7am each morning, with the director of the facility coming in around 10:30-11am every day and leaving frequently. When the director was (frequently) unavailable, the decisions/daily functions were my responsibility. Led a group of counselors administratively and helped out with daily issues and conflicts.

2012-2014  Volunteer (support services)—————————–Burning Man LLC

• Worked as support for Gate, Perimeter and Exodus staff at the Burning Man artistic event in Black Rock City, Nevada. Worked in extreme conditions: hot, cold, dusty and windy.

 

Career Highlights

~Performer and member of Knock Your Socks Off improv team at the age of 17.

~Attended classes at Improv Olympic (Io), the Annoyance Theater, and performed at a number of venues in Chicago, NYC, Phoenix, Oakland and Salt Lake City.

~Performer and founder of Jerk Church, a community-based collective of singers, musicians, and performers.

~Performer in You Again: the Web Series (2016)

~Performer in the Vagina Monologues 2017 at the University of Utah, provided cashbox and sold donation-based merchandise.
